Nagatitan chaiyaphumensis

Nagatitan is derived from "Naga" (the mythological serpent-like creatures found in various Asian cultures, especially in northeastern Thailand, often associated with water and Buddhism) and "titan" (for the giant pre-Olympian gods from Greek mythology).
The species epithet, chaiyaphumensis, is derived from "Chaiyaphum" (for Chaiyaphum Province, where the specimen was found) and the Latin "-ensis" (from)
Discovery
The remains of Nagatitan were discovered in the Khok Kruat  Formation at Ban Pha Nang Sua, Nong Bua Rawe District, Chaiyaphum Province, Thailand. The holotype (SM2025-1-546 to SM2025-1-556) consists of four back vertebrae and five back ribs, four hip vertebrae and five hip ribs, a right upper arm, a partial pelvic girdle, and a mostly complete right thigh.
