Choyrodon barsboldi
(Barsbold's Choyr tooth)Etymology
Choyrodon is derived from "Choyr" (a city near the Khuren Dukh locality where the fossils were discovered) and the Latin "don" (tooth) which is a common ending for ornithopod dinosaur taxa.
The species epithet, barsboldi, honors Dr. Rinchen Barsbold, a leading dinosaur paleontologist of Mongolia and leader of the expedition that discovered the first remains of this species.
