Xuwulong yueluni

(Xu-Wu Yue-Lun Dragon)Etymology
Xuwulong is derived from "Xu-wu" (the courtesy name given to Professor Wang Yue-lun) and the Chinese "long" (dragon). In China, courtesy names are traditionally bestowed upon men when they reach adulthood.
The species epithet, yueluni, also honours Professor Wang Yue-lun.
Discovery
The remains of Xuwulong were discovered in the Yujingzi Basin, Jinta County, Jiuquan area, Gansu Province, Peoples Republic of China.
The holotype (GSGM F00001) is an articulated specimen including a skull and lower jaw, an almost complete vertebral column lacking only the end of the tail, a complete left pelvic girdle, and bundles of ossified tendons.
