Sinankylosaurus zhuchengensis

Sinankylosaurus is derived from the Latin "sinae" (China) "ankylo" (bent or fused) and "sauros" (lizard).
The
species epithet,
zhuchengensis, means "from Zhucheng" in Latin.
Discovery
The remains of
Sinankylosaurus were discovered at Zangjiazhuang quarry in the Hongtuya Formation (Wangshi Group) near Zangjiazhuang Village, Zhucheng City, Shandong Province, China.
The
holotype (ZJZ-183) is an almost complete right ilium (a hip bone).
