Brohisaurus kirthari

(Brohi Lizard of the Kirthar)Etymology
Brohisaurus is derived from "Brohi" (in honour of the area's Brohi tribe) and the Greek "sauros" (lizard). The species epithet, kirthari, is named for the Kirthar Mountain Range.
Discovery
The remains of Brohisaurus were discovered in the Sembar Formation at the Sun Chaku Locality, 15 kilometers from Karkh village, Kirthar range, Khuzdar District, Balochistan Province, Pakistan.
The holotype (MSM-86-K to 94-K, 96-K to 98-K, 101-K to 105-K) includes poorly preserved, fragmentary and incomplete cross sections of a thigh bone, ribs, metatarsals and metacarpals, a partial calf bone, and pointy bits that are normally attached to vertebrae... but no actual vertebrae. One broken piece of vertebral arch (MSM-95-K), found in the Lakha Pir Charo area, was also referred to Brohisaurus.
