Quaesitosaurus orientalis

(Eastern extraordinary lizard)Etymology
Quaesitosaurus is derived from the Latin "quaesitus" (extraordinary, uncommon or abnormal) and the Greek "sauros" (lizard), so named for its unusual skull.
The species epithet, orientalis, means "eastern" in Latin, referring to its discovery in Asia.
Discovery
Quaesitosaurus was discovered at Shar Tsav in the Barun Goyot Formatio, Ömnögovi, Mongolia by the Soviet-Mongolian Expedition of 1971.
The holotype (PIN 3906/2) and the only bit known, is a far from complete skull.
