Notatesseraeraptor frickensis

(Mosaic-Featured Plunderer from Frick)Etymology
Notatesseraeraptor is derived from the Latin "nota" (feature), "tesserae" (tiles used to make a mosaic), and "raptor" (plunderer/thief), referring to the "mosaic" of features normally found in dilophosaurids and coelophysoids. The species epithet, frickensis , is derived from "frick" (for the village of Frick) and the Latin "-ensis" (from).
Discovery
The remains of Notatesseraeraptor were discovered in the Gruhalde Member of the Klettgau Formation at Frick village, Canton of Aargau, Switzerland, by Michael Fisher in 2006.
The holotype includes SMF 06-1 (a partial skeleton consisting of two articulated forelimbs, shoulder and pelvic girdles, thirteen back, four hip and four tail vertebrae, neck, back and hip ribs, tail chevrons, belly ribs) and SMF 09-2 (a partial skull) of a juvenile to subadult individual. Evidence of its last meal—the well-preserved upper jaw of the rhynchocephalian Clevosaurus—was identified in the preserved gut contents.
