Pampadromaeus barberenai

(Barbarena's Pampa runner)Etymology
Pampadromaeus is derived from the Quechua "pampa" (plain), in reference to the bare landscape of the fossil site, and the Latinized Greek "dromaeus" (runner).
The species epithet, barberenai, honors Brazilian paleontologist Mário Costa Barberena.
Discovery
The remains of Pampadromaeus were discovered at the "Janner" (also known as "Várzea do Agudo") locality in the Alemoa Member of the Santa Maria Formation (Rosário do Sul Group), geopark of Paleorrota, Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil.
The holotype (ULBRA-PVT016) is a partial skeleton.
