Udelartitan celeste

(The Sky Blue UdelaR Giant)Etymology
Udelartitan is derived from "UdelaR" (an acronym of the Universidad de la República) and the Greek "titan" (a mythological giant).
The species epithet, celeste, means "sky blue" in Spanish, in reference to the nickname given to the Uruguayan football team (The Sky Blue).
Discovery
The remains of Udelartitan were discovered in the Guichón Formation (Paysandú Group) near Araújo Hamlet, 20 km southeast of Quebracho town, Paysandú Department, Uruguay, by R. Beasley and personnel of Forestal Oriental S.A. in 2006.
The holotype (FC-DPV 3595) is three tail vertebrae. Referred material from the same locality, described briefy by Soto et al. in 2012, includes sixty partial tail vertebrae, a shoulder bone, fragments of a shin and calf bone, a left ankle, six metatarsals (FC-DVP 1900), associated eggshell fragments (FC-DPV 2310), plus a second, smaller ankle, which indicates the presence of at least two individuals in the quarry.
