Cienciargentina sanchezi

(for Science Argentina and Sanchez)Etymology
Cienciargentina is derived from the Argentine "ciencia" (science) and "Argentina", for the scientific and technological system of Argentina, "in recognition of the role it has played and plays in the economic and social development of the country". The species epithet, sanchezi, honours Teresa Sánchez for her work on Argentinian paleontology.
Discovery
The remains of Cienciargentina were discovered in the Huincul Formation at La Antena quarry, Villa El Chocón, Neuquén Province, Argentina. The holotype (MMCH-Pv 45) includes vertebrae (three neck, four back, seventeen tail), two ribs, four chevrons, a partial shoulder girdle, a hip bone (ischium), and both thighs, shins, and calves. MMCH-PV 54 (a hip bone and shin) and MMCH-PV 55 (two ribs and a calf) are paratypes.
The titanosaur Choconsaurus baileywillisi hails from the same quarry.
