About
Together with Tsintaosaurini, Lambeosaurini, and Parasaurolophini, the aralosaurinins make up Lambeosaurinae.

Etymology
Aralosaurini is derived from "Aral" (for the Aral Sea), the Greek "sauros" (lizard) and the Latin suffix "ini" (tribe), named for the group co-anchor Aralosaurus, the first named member of the tribe.
